At Equus Enlightened we meet you and your horse where you are and make a plan to get you where you want to go. We firmly believe in the camaraderie of group learning for horses and humans (it's easier on the wallet too), but one on one sessions are available virtually or in-person. With a focus on classical dressage principles paired with scientific learning theories, we use groundwork, in-hand work, and liberty play, along with riding to help you deepen your connection with your horse. Each session is personalized to help you achieve specific goals, ensuring that both you and your horse are confident and successful.

True success comes when you honor your own pace. You just need to find what's right for you and your horse. You've already proven you’re capable of hard work. Now, it’s time to focus on creating harmony and alignment.
How do your services differ from traditional training programs?
We believe there’s no one right way in training—only the way that feels right to you and your horse. Our approach focuses on creating a partnership between you and your horse; incorporating horse ethology, psychology, and compassionate training philosophies with a goal to enhance your training for performance. We also believe it should be FUN! for horse and rider 😊
Do you work with more than just dressage riders?
Yes! We have experience in several disciplines and all kinds of pleasure riding. Clients range from recreational owners to FEI dressage competitors.
How much do you charge?
One hour private sessions are $85 in my immediate area. If you are outside of a 20 mile radius, I charge a mileage fee, but if you can get a group together or you have multiple horses you need to work with, book a call and we can figure out a package for you!
